I'll be doing double duty and heading to two dinners on Thanksgiving (hello, turkey coma). That's only half the number of dinners attended by Lorelai and Rory on Thanksgiving in one of my favorite episodes ever of the Gilmore Girls, but it's still a lot of turkey and pumpkin pie.
Now, we're less than two days away, and I'm still not sure what I'll be making. I've been clicking a lot of links over the web and drooling over the Pinterest posts trying to decide. The problem is- everything sounds tasty.
I thought I'd share the love and link up some of my favorite Thanksgiving related posts.
+ PW's oyster dressing recipe - I'm pretty sure this one's a keeper. Oyster dressing is one of my dad's holiday favorites, and I figure I can't go wrong with a recipe from Ree.
+ If I can't decide on a pie, maybe I'll just bake this holy trinity of pies. That Cakespy is a clever one.
+ Stuffing stuffed crescents by kjpugs - I love stuffing. I love crescents. Pretty sure this is a match made in carbohydrate heaven.
+ Hello, cutest crudite ever.
+ This pumpkin pie with dulce de leche walnut streusel on SprinkleBakes is the very definition of indulgent.
A few Thanksgiving recipe links of my own:
+ A double batch of dough for these cut out chocolate turkey cookies is already in the fridge waiting to be rolled out and baked.
+ Sweet potato pie. Top it with toasted marshmallows and it becomes a dessert and side dish all in one.
+ When in doubt; bake cupcakes. These pumpkin cupcakes with cheesecake filling to be exact.
