December Daily 2012: Pages 1 - 5
I've attempted the December Daily project twice now & failed to actually complete a whole album. This year, I'm trying again and taking a different approach. Instead of going with the flow, I actually pulled together my own kit. I would've liked to purchase one of the gorgeous kits available online, but this girl's on a budget. Instead, I picked out a few new supplies and gathered them with several things I already had to make my own kit.
Since my December Daily was going to be a 4x6 mini album, I bought the 6x6 Sleigh Ride paper pad by Crate Paper. I love the color scheme and vintage modern feel of the collection. The paper pad made it super easy to pull together the mini album. Crop two inches off one side, punch some holes, and I'm done!
Five days in and I'm still going strong! Well, except for the cover. For now, it's still a plain piece of chipboard until inspiration strikes.
If you're working on a similar project, I'd love to see it! Link it up in the comments below!

I love your pages! My first December Daily didn't get completed either, so I switched to digital! The kit you pulled together is great, it definitely makes it much easier to have everything together.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so good already! Love the colors! I bought a Christmas kit from Bananafish Studios and it came today...it is full of fun bits and papers so I'm thinking I should just jump in and do something, even if it's not a daily thing ;) I look forward to seeing your next set of days!!
